Embracing the Joy in Data: Having Fun 💃🕺 — Tip #6
Just A Data Practitioner
As we close the personal chapter in this series, let’s take a moment to reflect. Throughout these articles, from our very first step in the world of data in “#1 Start with curiosity 🐣”, I’ve endeavored to share not just the ‘how-tos’ but also the passion and joy that comes with being in this field.
I purposefully titled this series “Data Practitioner” to avoid labels like “Data Analyst” or “Data Engineer”. It’s more than just a title; it’s about embracing the joy of discovery, the thrill of finding answers, and the empowerment that data brings. Regardless of whether you’re a product manager or a marketer, data can be your superpower 🦸♂️. Dive into it, have fun and you’ll find the path or even create a new role.
… always preserve excitingness. There’s a kind of excited curiosity that’s both the engine and the rudder of great work. It will not only drive you, but if you let it have its way, will also show you what to work on.
Growth Takes Time
Growing up, we often got the impression that life was a straight path. But in reality, it’s filled with detours and winding roads, each with its own lessons. Embrace every twist and turn. Let your passion guide you, and remember: the most rewarding journeys often take time.
“A single day won’t make a masterpiece, but a year can craft a legend.”
